Technology is a tool, not a learning objective. It should be used to help teachers meet their instructional goals, not for the its own sake. During this session, we’ll be looking to discover and better understand some of the best-practices that LEAs across the state of Utah have developed in these regards. We’ll use the Multi-Tiered System of Support (MTSS) as our foundational framework, exploring the intersections it has with the International Society for Technology in Education’s (ISTE) standards for students. Participants will extend their knowledge about how and when technology may be useful in their classrooms and/or schools in addition to the times when it is not.
